Venture North offer guided micro-group 4WD tours for throughout the Top End (Northern Territory) and Kimberley (Western Australia). Catering to the higher end of the market they specialise in taking guests off the beaten track in style. Touring routes included Kakadu, Litchfield and Katherine but also the more remote area such as the Kimberley and Arnhem Land.
Holding a number of special access permits Venture North enjoys unparalleled access into many restricted regions on the NT including Arnhem Land and the Cobourg Peninsula where they operate their unique safari-style Cobourg Coastal Camp. This remote camp offers an array of pristine wilderness experiences, cultural activities and as well as world class fishing.
Venture North’s scheduled 5 Day Kakadu, Arnhem Land and Cobourg Peninsula Tour departs each Monday and Thursday during the dry season. While tailor-made Private Charters operate year-round.

Venture North specialise in high quality, guided 4WD tours into rarely seen locations across the Northern Territory and hold an exclusive permit to operate a safari-style camp on the remote Cobourg Peninsula, north-western Arnhem Land.
Guided by Venture North's first class NT guides guests travel in luxury four wheel drives (maximum of 6 passengers) and experience some of the best Aboriginal culture, scenic locations and wildlife the Top End has to offer.
See more than just Kakadu. Discover Arnhem Land where you meet local Aboriginal people and see some of the oldest and most spectacular rock art in the world.
Visit Venture North's very comfortable Cobourg Coastal Camp overlooking the picturesque waters of the NT's only Marine Park. This exclusive camp is located in the Garig Gunak Barlu National Park (Cobourg Peninsula) and provides the perfect base to explore the surrounding regions. Soak up the unspoilt wilderness areas, abundant wildlife, Indigenous and European history, great fishing and much more.
Venture North have various scheduled departure tours and also provide tailor made group and individual tours including wilderness trips, cultural safaris, photographic expeditions, wildlife adventures and fishing tours throughout the Top End.

All costs as per your supplied itinerary including: meals camping or accommodation fees park entry permits activities professional expedition leader.
TOUR EXCLUSIONS
Domestic or scenic flights (unless arranged). Pre and Post tour accommodation (unless arranged). Personal expenses such as laundry telephone fax charges or alcohol other than where specified. Personal or medical items.
LICENSED OPERATORS
Cobourg Fishing Safaris hold all required touring licenses while all Cobourg Fishing Safaris guides are accredited and hold current first aid certificates.
MEDICAL / HEALTH AND FITNESS
Please advise of any medical conditions or existing health and fitness issues. Walking and hiking into gorges is considered to be moderately graded. Water is carried at all times.
EMERGENCY CONTACT
Please provide an emergency contact in case of illness accident or any other mishap.
You are welcome to pass our contact details to relatives or friends.
Each vehicle carries a satellite telephone in case of emergency.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Please advise any dietary requirements prior to travel allergies or meal preference (low fat non gluten etc ).
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We STRONGLY recommend that all guests obtain travel insurance in case of any unforeseen circumstances.
Venture North cannot be held responsible for tour program alterations due to flooding or acts of nature cultural reasons missed flight connections medical evacuations damage to personal belongings or loss of property.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Prior to departure:
12 months or more there are no cancellation fees
1 month – 12 months a 20% cancellation fee applies
Less than 1 month – 2 weeks 50% cancellation fee applies
Less than 2 weeks a 100% cancellation fee applies
Upon confirmation of your touring program a 20% deposit (per person) is required. Final payment is due one month prior to travel. A Tax Invoice will be raised and forwarded to you. Travel insurance is STRONGLY recommended.
ALCOHOL
Alcohol is BYO (Bring Your Own). We recommend placing an order with Vintage Cellars in Darwin at least 2 weeks prior to your charter. We can then send up your order by road (ensuring weight restrictions on your charter flight aren’t exceeded). There are no opportunities to purchase further alcohol at Cobourg so please plan carefully.
FISHING EQUIPMENT
We will supply all the latest fishing equipment (rods reels lures etc.) on a replace if lost or broken basis.
PERSONAL ITEMS
It is recommended that film sunscreen insect repellent is purchased prior to tour in some cases these items may not be available en route and can be very costly.
