Description

The Territory Wildlife Park is your essential introduction to the native flora and fauna of the Top End. We are set within 400 hectares of natural bushland presenting a diverse range of habitats including monsoon forest, woodland and wetlands, showcasing the unique flora and fauna of the Top End of the Northern Territory.

The Park is a registered zoological park attraction and a centre for conservation, research and education that offers visitors plenty of opportunities to immerse themselves in the Park's natural environment, exploring its unique habitats on foot, bicycle or by shuttle train.

Presentations and Keeper Talks are free with general admission. Wild Encounters can be booked and paid at Admissions, go to our website for details.

The Park opens daily at 9 am (except Christmas Day), closing times vary with the seasons:
•From 1 October to 31 March (wet season hours), the park closes at 3 pm.
•From 1 April to 30 September (dry season hours), the park closes at 4 pm.

Cancellation Policy

No cancellation fees apply

We have the authority to close any part of the Park, including any animal exhibit (animals off display) or cancel a Keeper Talk at any time for reasons such as adverse weather, equipment failure, maintenance and construction, or in the interests of safety. We will not be liable for any loss or expense incurred by a guest as the result of such closure. The late arrival of any booking for a Wild Encounter may result in non-admittance.


By entering the Territory Wildlife Park, all visitors agree to abide with any other conditions displayed in Park grounds or communicated by Park Staff. The Territory Wildlife Park retains the right to deny access and/or eject visitors who are being a public nuisance, acting recklessly or failing to observe directions from Park Staff, or any Park signage. The decision to deny access and/or eject any visitor is made at the absolute discretion of the Territory Wildlife Park.

The Territory Wildlife Park is located on Cox Peninsula Road, Berry Springs NT 0838.

Head head south from Darwin on the Stuart Highway. Travel approximately 50kms and then turn right onto Cox Peninsula Road.
The Park is approximately 12 km along Cox Peninsula Road, on your right. It is well sign posted all the way and we are immediately next door to Berry Springs Nature Reserve.
