Description

Library & Archives NT is a government run cultural facility. The NT Library is located in Parliament House and provides free entry to the public. LANT is the premier public research and archival organisation in the Territory focused on the history, development and culture of the NT. It has a permanent exhibition, 'A Territory Story' and holds temporary exhibitions throughout the year. It hosts a series of public engagement events each year including talks, workshops, book launches and public forums and runs annual prize awards including the NT Literary Awards and the Chief Minister's Northern Territory History Book Awards.
