Desert Palms offers a calm, peaceful environment, which creates a sense of relief for the weary traveller. After a hectic day of travelling by road or air take pleasure in watching the world go by on the privacy of your own private balcony surrounded by palms trees while watching the spectacular sunsets over the MacDonald Ranges.
All villas are air-conditioned and include bougainvillea-covered verandahs, private en suites, kitchenette facilities and FREE WiFi in rooms and throughout the property.
We're located in the main accommodation centre of Alice Springs on the banks of the Todd River, close to town, Lasseters Casino - Alice Springs entertainment hot spot, the Convention Centre and the Alice Springs Golf Club is our backyard.
Some of the best restaurants in Alice Springs are within meters of the Desert Palms. These include the Golf Course Club House, Hanumans (Indian/Thai) and The Deck Eatery and Bar at the Double Tree by Hilton and four restaurants at Lasseters Casino including the Juicy Rump.
We offer a small kiosk/shop on-site where food items and liquor can be purchased along with an Expresso Coffee Machine. There is also a guest laundry, BBQ area, secure gated off street parking directly outside each villa and FREE Wifi.

Bookings made on this special rate have a Forty-Eight (48) Hour Cancellation Policy.
You can cancel or modify your booking outside Forty-Eight (48) hours from your scheduled arrival date without penalty. If this booking is cancelled or modified within Forty-Eight (48) from your scheduled arrival date you will be charged the 1st nights’ accommodation value of your original booking. Please note that a credit card pre-authorisation of AUD $200 is required on check in and a photocopy of a drivers license or other photo ID is required in the same name as on the booking confirmation. This pre-authorisation is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation no smoking in the room and return of room key. If the guests do not own a credit card a cash bond of $100 will be required. The cash bond would be refunded after the room inspection on check out . A weekly housekeeping service is provided after 7 nights stay. We do not service on Sundays or Public Holidays. During reception hours tea/coffee/sugar/milk and fresh towels are available from the front desk.
