Banyan View Lodge

Welcome to Banyan View Lodge. Ideally located within walking distance of the Darwin Central Business District the Lodge provides you with easy access to shopping, restaurants and markets, entertainment and the beach.

We pride ourselves on our home away from home atmosphere and spotlessly clean rooms. Banyan View Lodge offers a quiet alternative to the hustle and bustle of other budget accommodation establishments, at the same time offering the convenience of an inner city location and the peace and tranquility of our extensive tropical gardens, spa and sparkling pool . Free parking is available and a bus stop is located directly outside the Lodge.

We encourage mature age guests and families to stay as we are the quiet alternative to other backpackers. With our garden backing on to Doctor’s Gully, one of the last remaining rainforest pockets in the inner city area, you can enjoy the sounds of the birds and observe the wildlife first hand. There are a range of activities nearby - Aquascene fishfeeding, the world famous Mindil Markets, Skycity Casino, The Wharf Precinct and Cullen Bay are all no more than five minutes drive away from the Lodge.

We offer our guests a range of clean, budget accommodation with all the comforts of home. Banyan View Lodge is owned and operated by the YWCA of Darwin Inc. When you stay with us you are supporting the YWCA to provide services to homeless and disadvantaged youth, women and families in the local community.
